Faculty Mentors serve an equally pivotal role in the development of the courses as well as the entire JMUTeach pilot program. They are the experts in their fields and have had vast experience with teaching and facilitating discussion. They are an extremely important resource to the student-facilitators. Mentors receive a stipend of $800 for their work with their student facilitator. They will also serve as the instructor of record for the three interconnected 1 credit/no credit courses.
